Remix 3 is an elegant upholstery textile distinguished by exceptional depth of color, designed by Giulio Ridolfo. It comes in 23 new hues, adding to an already expansive palette which now offers a total of 72 sophisticated colorways. Remix 3 looks unicolored from a distance but reveals subtle details and color contrasts when viewed close-up. The textile features a tight, minimalistic weave, and derives its lively color play from a combination of two different mélange yarns, which each combine up to three hues. The new colors, carefully selected from 2600 samples, are inspired by an extensive study of traditional Indigo dyeing undertaken by Giulio Ridolfo on his travels. Centered around deep combinations of blues and rich natural reds, they also include subtly colored neutrals.

It is characterized by exceptional durability, tactility, and color depth. Steelcut 3 features an innovative, intricate construction by Frans Dijkmeijer which offers a three-dimensional surface resembling small pyramids or steel points. Despite the complex weaving technique used to craft the textile, it has a simple and precise, yet multidimensional, expression. The expansive color scale by Giulio Ridolfo explores a new way to blend deep reds, violets and greens and is inspired by still images he took on his travels in Mexico and his deep admiration of collages by Henri Matisse. It comprises a versatile selection of ‘intertones’, which combine vivid floral hues and different earthy notes to create vibrant harmonies.
