mosaiek hand tufted rug

The rugs from the Mosaiek series have a design reminiscent of the popular Nolla mosaics, a traditional floor of the Spanish Mediterranean based on small geometric pieces of stoneware. Mosaiek's pattern works specifically with triangles, a compendium of different combinations arranged as strips and frets, designed by Javier Tortosa.

Hand-tufting is a manual rug-making method in which a special handheld tool shoots and cuts a portion of wool following a pattern over a stretched cotton fabric. This technique offers great freedom in terms of designs, thicknesses, finishes and colors. With it, GAN makes possible the impossible.

This model alternates six colors: broken white, black, off yellow, turquoise and two shades of gray. It is made using the hand-tufted technique with 100% virgin wool, which provides softness and volume. It is available in two sizes as well as in yellow and blue and a kilim version.
