Mollis is a modern version of the traditional wooden spoke sofa. Designed by the forward thinking Danish duo ByKato, Mollis combines timeless design with ethical commitments in both wood and upholstery selection. Mollis - Latin for Soft - is upholstered in the sustainable Re-Wool series from Kvadrat, made of partly recycled wool. The exposed construction is beautifully crafted from solid FSC certified oak wood with cigar shaped spokes and a bottom of nylon webbing, making it soft yet firm. Its deep seat provides the sitting comfort of a lounger and allows for playful positioning of additional cushions.

The oak wood is sustainably sourced from well-managed forests, and in combination with the recycled upholstery, Mollis honors the UN Sustainable Development Goals of protecting "Life on Land" (SDGs 15) and "Responsible Consumption and Production" (SDGs 12) and supporting "Partnership for the Goals" (SDGs 17). Mollis is designed for disassembly, meaning that the design allows each component in its purest form to recycle into new production circles.
