The two rugs in the Botanica series - Midori (NUP005) and Kiri (NUP006) - have organic, almost fluent patterns that evoke associations to plants, but also the soft movement of the traditional Chinese dragon dance.
First and foremost, the series draws inspiration from Asia, not least Japanese nature, reflecting the enriching journey from Tokyo to Kyoto.
The expressive rugs are part of the two collections, each featuring two rug designs, thereby offering two different design universes bound together by a nature-inspired design idiom.
The two collections, Botanica and Oceania, consist of a total of four different designs in three color combinations, as well as a range of sizes and shapes. The rugs are made from wool with added sustainable Tencel®, providing a soft silky finish.
