The Adam Lounge Chair was designed by the Swedish designer Kerstin H. Holmquist during her employment at Nordiska Kompaniet, NK, in 1958. Adam is the masculine piece of Holmquist's Paradiset Collection, where all names are inspired by "Paradiset" - the Swedish name for Eden or Paradise.
With its sculptural and organic form, the Adam Lounge Chair holds a soft simplicity with an air of romance. The armrests run smoothly into the high back and provide elegant, round and embracing curves with optimal support. Combine the lounge chair with the ottoman Fig Leaf or its counterpart Eva Lounge Chair.
Available with lacquered oak, walnut or black matte lacquered legs, upholstered in your choice of a variety of fabrics. Not available in leather.
