The Nest collection's linear, clear metal structure lifts the plumpest and softest cushions from the floor, creating a comfy, elevated nest for one or more people.
Marcel Wanders grew up in Boxtel, the Netherlands and graduated cum laude from the School of the Arts Arnhem in 1988. His fame started with the iconic Knotted Chair in 1996. He is now designing for the biggest European contemporary design manufacturers including Moooi of which he is also art director and co-owner. He works on architectural, interior design and consumer home appliances. His designs have been selected for the most important design collections and exhibitions around the world.
The Nest collection features a KTL & powder coated steel frame (frame suitable for outdoor use), the cushions are mixed foam, feathers & fiber flock filling. Nest chair pillows are connected by zippers and all covers can be removed for cleaning. Also available as a sofa.

Marcel Wanders
Marcel Wanders first drew international recognition for his Knotted Chair produced by the Dutch design brand Droog. The Knotted Chair has since been acquired by the permanent collection of the MoMA.
Moooi is named for the Dutch word for 'beautiful'. The third 'O' in the name stands for extra value in beauty. The Moooi design process is lead by Marcel Wanders in collaboration with other notable designers.
