Design Blu Dot, 2011
Copper, or powder-coated steel, tempered glass or honed marble

Three sizes, three base finishes and three tops to choose from to scatter or cluster. Mix and match the Scamp table to form your own landscape of beauty and utility. Also available in medium and large sizes. Assembly required.

Tops:
Glass: Smoke tempered glass
Marble: Honed marble
light grey glass: matte tempered glass; light grey paint on underside

Bases:
Copper: Copper plate on steel
Black: Powder-coated steel
White: Powder-coated steel

Please note: Marble is a dynamic and natural material. This means that distinctive natural marks may occur in the top and will vary from table to table. This is part of its intrinsic beauty. We recommend that the honed marble top be sealed on occasion (every year or two) to avoid/delay any surface changes. An impregnating sealer easily available at most hardware stores is your best bet.

Blu Dot was formed in 1997 when John Christakos, Maurice Blanks, and Charlie Lazor commiserated about the lack of high-quality, affordable home furnishings that also appealed to their modernist aesthetics. They began as college friends trying to fill a void in the marketplace and have endured with highly-original furniture and products that join whimsy with practicality. The company thrives on collaboration and prides itself on having full control, taking care of each step in-house, from design, to manufacturing, to retail. Blu Dot is based in Minneapolis, and has flagship stores in LA and SoHo New York that display over 100 items from the collection.
