The new Taika Siimes pattern by Klaus Haapaniemi makes new constellations of forest animals dance on classic ceramic dinnerware. Inspired by both the colors and culture of the North, Taika Siimes provides the backdrop for magical moments. Siimes (shade in Finnish) refers to the place where animals take a rest from the sun on a hot summer day.
Klaus Haapaniemi's list of accomplishments is as impressive as it is diverse. He has created garment prints for a range
of international brands, worked as Creative Director of the Italian fashion house Bantam, produced illustrations for the Observer newspaper, shown his work in exhibitions and more. The international media has declared him one of the most important rising stars in illustration and design.
