Originally designed in 1961, Fantasma floor lamp features a white powder coated internal steel structure sprayed with a unique "cocoon" resin to create the diffuser. The diffuser is then protected by a transparent sprayed on finish. The diffused light of fantasma offers a foot switch for on/off control. Fantasma is available in your choice of two sizes.
Tobia Scarpa was born in Venice and started working in the field of glass at Venini's in Murano in 1958. He's collaborated with Knoll International and designed a whole collection of furniture for Cassina. Since 1960 Tobia has been working with the Castiglioni architects as a designer with Flos. Tobia's designs have been featured in magazines and on display in museums all over the world.
