In celebration of their 60th anniversary, Knoll introduced the Maya Lin collection. As her first furniture for production, Stones was part of "the earth is (not) flat" collection. Reflecting the artist's ongoing exploration of the relationship betweeen humans and the earth. Stones offers a low, monolithic ellipse of colored element as sculpture. Each piece has the simple, elliptical shapes and subtle curves that appear in much of the artist's oeuvre.
The Stones collection is available as a child's seat, adult seat and coffee table, in your choice of colors. The seats are available with optional cushion in various upholstery fabrics. The polyethylene stones have integral color with a light texture and a low gloss finish. Seat tops are slightly concave.
