"We're searching for some poetry amidst the tools of industry" -Kranen/Gille
The Party is a suspension light designed by Kranen/Gille. An extension of The Party Wall lamps; The Mayor, Bert, Glenn, Ted & Coco, The Party brings all characters together for a family reunion. Each character has something to gain and something to say. Will they overcome their difficulties in the end, or will they each go on their separate ways once again?
The reunion of The Party will open old wounds, provides the opportunity to make amends or find peace. Will the Mayor acknowledge his sons after all these years? Will Bert finally get his revenge? Will Ted be able to handle this reunion meticulously planned, or will his temper get the best of him yet again? Glenn's idealistic ways might be able to balance our the tension between the family members, but will his mother Coco, a natural-born leader, give him the space to do so?

Founded in 2001 by complementing personalities Marcel Wanders and Casper Vissers, Moooi is named after the native Dutch word for "beautiful". According to the company, "the 'third "o' in the brand name stands for an extra value in terms of beauty & uniqueness." In additon to Wanders' work, Moooi has produced work from Bertjan Pot, Maarten Baas, Ross Lovegrove and Studio Job. Ultimately, Wanders is responsible for the overall design selection process.
