Design Alessandro Mendini, 2003
Chrome, polyamide
Made in Italy by Alessi

As ironic, humorous and elegant as you could wish for, the Alessandro M Corkscrew is somewhat of a self-portrait of its designer Alessandro Mendini and joins the successful Anna series as a male counterpart. In addition to its charismatic qualities, the Alessandro M Corkscrew is a joy to use.

Born in Milan, Alessandro Mendini is the former director of Casabella, Modo and Domus. The winner of a Compasso d'Oro and designer of the Groninger Museum in Groningen, the Casino in Arosa and the Forum in Omegna. He is a designer, architect and image consultant for Philips, Swarovski, Swatch, and Bisazza.
