A wooden table that radiates strength and simplicity! Wang tables are designed so the sidepieces are of the same width and thickness as the table top, giving an inverted U-shape. Visually, this leads to a harmonious balance and perfect symmetry. The two sidepieces and the top are attached at right angles by a superb dovetailed joint. This joint is so strong and stable that no other construction is necessary and the shape remains pure.
Gijs Papavoine studied at the institute of technology and Eindhoven Academy for Industrial Design in the product Design department. Gijs was employed as a Product Manager at Montis until 1990. In this capacity, he was jointly responsible for Montis' design philosophy. In 1990, Gijs was promoted to dedicated designer of Montis.
Wang tables feature walnut and oak veneer and offered in four sizes. Please note that the table can not be dismantled and will be delivered assembled.
