Since 2002, the Case Study® #22 collection has been manufactured to the exact specifications of the original VKG Lounge Chair, Ottoman and Chaise, originally built by Hendrik Van Keppel and Taylor Green from 1939 through 1970. These timeless designs are Included in the permanent collections of MOMA and LACMA museums.

Included in the iconic photo by Julius Shulman of Pierre Koenig's Case Study House #22, pieces from the collection were also included in a famous Julius Shulman photo of the Kaufman house designed by Richard Neutra. Many architects involved in the Case Study House Program valued VKG's simple, pure and functional designs that promoted the indoor /outdoor lifestyle which represented the California lifestyle.

Fabricated from Marine Grade Stainless Steel (grade 304), powder coated black with UV protection. The Stainless Steel frames offer superior strength and will not rust. The covering is a specialty marine cord, engineered and manufactured for sailing. This marine cord is extremely durable and can be cleaned simply by hosing it off once a week. The cord is guaranteed against rot or mildew. Chaise is not adjustable.
