The Tavolino 1932 table was designed over 70 years ago and ,thanks to its style and construction, is still fashionable today. Tavolino 1932 table features two 0.6" thick float-glass disks held in place by a structure in polished nickel-plated brass. An elegant occasional table suitable for any public or private setting.

Born in Milan in 1891, Gio Ponti obtained his degree in architecture from the "Politecnico" University of Milan. In 1926 he founded the magazine "Domus" and thanks to this magazine that he lead until his death in 1979, he was able to cultivate relationships with the worlds most important architects and designers such as Charles Eames and Tapio Wirkkala. In 1931 he artistically lead the Luigi Fontana Company and, along with Pietro Chiesa, founded FontanaArte. He has taught at the "Politecnico" University of Milan. His achievements and in particular his educational path lead him to receive various awards including the Golden Compass.
