Owing to its alleged "revolutionary" nature and the radical look it acquired from its "purist" form. In time, however, it won the recognition it deserved and is still widely admired.

A novel design, the LC8 is a revolving stool which allows the user greater function and freedom of movement. It features a polished trivalent chrome plated (CR3) or semigloss, grey, light blue, green, brown, mud and ivory or black enamel steel frame (please call to specify a colored frame). CFC-free polyurethane foam and polyester wadding. Leather or fabric upholstery with matching piping (please call to specify fabric upholstery). An outdoor version is also available for this model.
This stool is a version of the "fauteuil tournant" minus its back. It responds to different uses and to a specific need: as the base is the same for both items. The LC8 is Included in the design collection of the Museum of Modern Art.
