The "Cassina | Maestri" (Cassina Masters) collection includes some of the most important furniture created by leading figures in the Modern Movement, pieces which have since become landmarks in the evolution of contemporary design.

The LC7 swivel chair is a revolving small armchair with polished trivalent chrome plated (CR3) or semigloss grey, light blue, green, brown, mud and ivory or black enamel steel frame (please call to specify the colored frame). Available in two versions: with 4 or 5 legs. Back and seat cushion padded with CFC-free polyurethane foam and polyester wadding. Leather or fabric (please call to specify fabric) upholstery. The LC7 comes with matching piping. An outdoor version is also available for this model.

All the models in the Cassina Masters collection, by merit of their artistic content and particular creative character, are protected by copyright. The exclusive reproduction rights have been acquired by Cassina.

Designed by Charlotte Perriand in 1927 for her flat in place Saint-Sulpice, Paris, this small armchair was first exhibited at the 1928 Salon des Artistes Décorateurs in the Salle à Manger 28, and subsequently at the 1929 Salon d'Automne, integrated within the collection co-signed by Le Corbusier, Pierre Jeanneret and Charlotte Perriand.

A novel design, the LC7 could be used as a dining, side or executive chair. Includes a revolving back which allows the user greater function and freedom of movement. The LC7 is Included in the design collection of the Museum of Modern Art.

Le Corbusier was an architect, designer, urbanist and writer. He was born in Switzerland and became a French citizen in 1930. He was an early proponent of modern high rise design and had a personal dedication to providing better living conditions for the residents of crowded cities.
