blow-molded polyethylene
Made in Italy by Magis
To quote Mr. Newson: "Magis asked me to do a doorstopper and, although the orgone is a very old shape for me, it seemed ideal for the purpose. It was a way for me to work with blow molding technology, an industrial process used to make bottles, and I love the result. Its a really funny, quirky object."
A clever and playful object designed by Marc Newson for Magis. The Rock door stop is made from blow-molded polyethylene and it should be filled with water or sand. Great for use in holding a door open or on its own as a sculptural addition to your space.
