Design Nitzan Cohen
Beech or ash wood
Made in Italy by Mattiazzi®

No surprise that a design firm noted for its woodworking came up with a chair that demonstrates such graceful carpentry. What is surprising is how designer Nitzan Cohen imagined a new dynamic with the subtle differences he built into his He Said and She Said chairs.

She Said has quiet undertones, gently curving arm rests. It brings the subtlest touch of elegance to a home office or guest room. More interested in saucy? Pair it with the He Said chair. Vive la différence!

Perfect for restaurants, cafés, and the home, She Said Lowide Chair - a lower-sitting, wider-seated version - is available in black anilin beech, white lacquered beech, black anilin ash, and natural ash. You can have the chairs without upholstery, or with removable upholstery on the seat and back in 11 colors that range from neutrals to vivid hues.

Among contemporary furniture manufacturers, Mattiazzi is uncommon. While many producers rely on third party factories and work in diverse materials, Mattiazzi operates with their own machines and hands, and has developed a healthy obsession for woodworking. Since 1978, when brothers Nevio and Fabiano Mattiazzi founded the company, Mattiazzi has steadily cultivated its local manufacturing culture. Their network of wood shops is diverse enough to support any manufacturing process the brand may need. Every shop has its own focus, from milling to lacquering, and a particular process always belongs to a specific part of town. But don’t let the neighborhood approach confuse you: Mattiazzi is no backyard shop. Their highly specialized craftsmen operate the most sophisticated machinery available.
