Design Tom Dixon, 2009
Solid oak or birch
Made by Tom Dixon

A stool created from what was once considered rubbish. The rounded top makes use of the curved and irregular pieces of discarded wood (called waney edges). Straightforward to assemble, the Offcut stool comes flat packed in a 'pizza style' box and is constructed with wooden pegs rather than screws or glue. A set of chunky, waney edge oak or birch components gives the owner the satisfaction of constructing their own stool or table by hammering the joins together with wooden dowels to make a solid long lasting piece of furniture. Available in either natural oak or birch in three finish options.

stool: 17" h | 18" dia.
requires assembly

stool: $270.00 + free shipping in the continental U.S.
(usually ships in 20 business days. please allow 4-6 weeks for fluoro finish)
