The core of Naoto Fukasawa's project Shiba lies in the consideration that, at the end of the day, in your private life, you tend to use in your kitchen a very limited number of pots and pans compared to the traditional concept of cookware. So Fukasawa limited himself to designing only those that are strictly necessary, with his characteristic minimalist rigor.
Naoto Fukasawa was born in Yamanashi Prefecture and graduated from Tama Art University in 1980. He has worked with Seiko Epson, designing wristwatch & wristTV technology; LCD TVs, LCD projectors and other equipment. He has designed a number of products utilizing state-of-the-art technology for start-up companies and for big brand name computer and communications related companies, and has won numerous design awards in Europe and the United States.
Shiba saucepan is offered in multi-ply (AISI 430, aluminium, 18/10 stainless steel) mirror polished with a double wall lid. Handle and knob in wood.
