max table

max table

Design Ferruccio Laviani, 1999
Chrome plated steel, laminate top
Made in Italy by Kartell

The soft shape, similar to an hourglass, allows Max to compose a domino effect between a number of tables of the same type as well as with the other elements of office furnishings. It can therefore live by itself or together with its fellows, creating a more populated environment. The interplays of connections are easy and fast, thanks to its lightness and mobility. It is very easy to combine with other Kartell office elements, thanks both to the "neutral" design of Max and the versatile colors in which it is available.

The top is available in your choice of three colors. The base is chrome with either locking castors or standard glides.

F. Laviani

Ferruccio Laviani (b. 1960) of Cremona, Italy graduated from Politecnico di Milano in architecture in 1986 and created industrial design objects, mainly lamps or lighting systems known for colored transparent plastics. From 1986-1991, he was a member of the De Lucchi studio, designing for various companies such as Credito Bergamasco, Mandarina Duck, Memphis, Olivetti, and Swatch. He came into prominence as the Memphis group began to leave its mark on International design. In 1991, he showed his silverware from the Morandotti collection at the "European Capitals of New Designö exhibition at the Centre Pompidou in Paris. The same year, he began a collaboration with Kartell and is now an artistic director and consultant.
Kartell's image and its 59 years of history are described through the company's products. The development, the corporate strategies, the attention the company has paid to technology, the project and the design can be appreciated by observing the products Kartell has produced. Kartell's products express the language and the atmosphere of the period in which they were created, but at the same time, they are "contemporary articles," they incorporate many other values and messages and this is why they have become an integral part of our domestic design world.
