Chandelier, is a dramatic, yet simple and minimally designed hanging lamp. Based on the classic candle-lit chandeliers of the past, Chandelier features a structure in grey aluminum or black plated brass with sandblasted borosilicate glass diffusers and stainless steel suspension cables. An elegant addition of light to any space.

David Chipperfield was born in London in 1953 and he obtained his Architecture Degree in 1977. In 1984 he founded the David Chipperfield Architects firm. With branches in London and Berlin, the firm is a multi-language and multi-cultural center. The 90 people who work for the firm come from 16 different countries and speak more than 22 different languages; a very important diversity to have because this multifaceted reality helps to constantly widen the procedural vision "from the inside". The David Chipperfield Architects firm have won more than 20 national and international contests and were awarded with many international awards and citations for achieving excellence in planning.

The Fontana Arte company was formed in 1932 by Gio Ponti under the parent company Luigi Fontana, a leader in advanced glass manufacturing and design. Ponti was a skilled artist in many trades as well as the editor of Domus magazine. He had an intuition to use glass as a distinguishing feature in furniture, lamps and objects. Already designing homes, he could employ this concept in the interior décor. Fontana Arte produced many ornate stained-glass windows in churches, cathedrals, and palaces, including the Duomo of Milan and the Cathedral of Brasilia. Years later, the company has built a name collaborating with respected designers and architects. Fontana Arte continues to evolve and reach out to work with more designers and other companies.
