" design I mean the process both physical and mental by which people give an order to objects, community, environments and behavior." -Bill Stumpf

Combining distinctive looks with pioneering ergonomics, Aeron performs like no other chair. It adapts naturally and adjusts precisely to fit people of all sizes and postures doing all kinds of activities, all day long. The imaginative design of the work chair provides the highest level of comfort, body support, and style that is widely copied but never matched.

The Aeron is a work chair solution offering high-performance, long-term seating in three sizes with a full complement of adjustments and innovative suspension. Each chair features a high and wide contoured back that takes weight off the lower spine. The Aeron is easy on the body with wide sloped, soft armrests, a waterfall front edge seat for reduced pressure and better circulation. The comfortable support of the strong Pellicle suspension system is form-fitting, distributes weight evenly over the seat and back and conforms to each person's shape and minimizes pressure while allowing air to pass through to provide a cool and comfortable experience for the sitter. The inclusive look blends both classic and contemporary influences for a unique appearance that fits in wherever it's used.

Tilt - standard tilt adjusts tilt tension only. Tilt limiter & seat angle adjust tilt tension, tilt range (4 settings), and seat angle (horizontal or 5" forward).

arms - adjustable arms move 4" vertically & from 15" outward to 17.5" inward.

Please note: if arm option is selected, the graphite & polished aluminum base chairs include black colored arm pads while the titanium base chairs include smoke colored arm pads.

All our Aeron chairs can be customized for optimal comfort. Options include a choice of either PostureFit® customizable back-support or an adjustable lumbar support. The chairs are available in your choice of frame & base colors, with matching non-upholstered arms as well as a variety of Pellicle fabric options. All 3 chair sizes are tested and warranted for use by persons 300 pounds and under.

Herman Miller

Herman Miller was a West Michigan businessman who helped his son-in-law, D.J. De Pree, buy the Michigan Star Furniture Company in 1923. De Pree had been working at the company, which opened in 1905, since he was hired in 1909 as a clerk. De Pree knew his father-in-law was a man of integrity, so he decided to rename the company after him. By the middle of the 20th century, the name Herman Miller had become synonymous with “modern” furniture. Working with legendary designers George Nelson and Charles and Ray Eames, the company produced pieces that would become classics of industrial design.
